Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The free plan has no time limit: one contact, one message, a daily check-in, a reminder you choose plus a final reminder, and your message delivered by text.
How do the free trials work?
Pro and Max each start with a 7-day free trial. You subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, and you can cancel there before the trial ends so you are not charged.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens to my contacts and messages if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Extra contacts and messages are kept and marked as not active on the free plan, so they are ready again if you upgrade. Your oldest contact stays the one who is notified.
What happens to my files if I leave Max?
Photos, videos and files are kept for 30 days after you leave Max, then deleted. Your text messages are always kept.
How large can attachments be?
Max includes 10 GB of storage in total. Each file can be up to 25 MB for images, 1 GB for videos, 100 MB for audio and 50 MB for other files.
Is there a family plan?
Each person who checks in needs their own account, because each check-in is personal. Contacts never pay anything and never need the app.
